Welcome to the CASA website's terms and conditions. Your use of our website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

CASA ("Queenstreet Carpets (1973) Ltd", "Queenstreet", "Queenstreet Carpets", "Queenstreet Carpets & Furnishings", "we" or "us") reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice to you and any changes will take effect on the day they appear on our website.

If you have any questions regarding these terms and conditions please contact us by email or telephone between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

    1. You place an order on the website by selecting an item and following the instructions.
    2. You will have an opportunity to correct any input error in your order up until you click the Submit Order button.
    3. Once you have submitted your order you will receive an order acknowledgement e-mail from us. Please note that this is an acknowledgement and not an acceptance of your order.
    4. If you are paying by credit or debit card, we will authorise your payment. If you are paying by bank transfer, we will notify you on the first working day after we receive it.
    5. Once payment has been authorised and we have determined the availability of stock, we will arrange for the delivery of the goods to you. Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur once we have notified you of how the goods will be delivered to you.
    1. If you have paid by credit or debit card, once your order has been received we will process the payment for your order by way of the credit or debit card details you have provided. In the event there is insufficient stock to satisfy your order you will be informed as soon as possible and a refund will be made.
    2. All prices and charges on this website are quoted in UK pounds. The price you pay for your order is the price which is displayed on the website.
    3. Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated but exclude delivery charges. Delivery charges are processed as part of the checkout process, based on the value of your order and your location.
    4. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you an option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order.
    1. All orders over £1250 include our free delivery service to most UK mainland postcodes. Terms may vary during promotional events, for clearance items, carpet orders and smaller orders of accessories.
    2. All orders of £1250 or below are subject to a £85 delivery charge if you live outside of Devon; free delivery for most Devon postcodes or a £40 delivery charge will apply. Terms may vary during promotional events, for clearance items, carpet orders and smaller orders of accessories.
    3. We are unable to deliver orders outside of mainland UK or to certain UK postcodes. Please contact us for further information.
    4. Delivery of your order will vary depending on your chosen product. We will advise you of the expected waiting time before we confirm your order and take payment. Whilst every effort will be made to meet the required delivery date, we can accept no responsibility for failure to meet any such requested date due to circumstances beyond our control.
    5. Once your goods have been received by us, we will contact you to arrange delivery to your chosen address.
    6. Delivery to your chosen address is usually within 4 weeks of your order becoming available in our warehouse.
    7. Deliveries are made between 9am & 5pm Monday to Friday. You will be notified whether your delivery will be either 'AM' or 'PM'.
    8. We cannot accept responsibility should there be a problem with access of your order to the desired location. In such instances, we will place it to the nearest possible point to that location or hold it for you until you have made alternative arrangements.
    9. We are able to remove old furniture, beds and mattresses but this service depends on your location. Please discuss this separately with us.
    10. You must retain any packaging for a period of 7 days following delivery in case you identify a fault and are required to return the item(s).
    1. You are entitled to a statutory cooling off period beginning from the date you placed the order and ending 14 days after you received the goods.
    2. Certain items are exempt from this cooling off period, for example a mattress which has been taken out of its packaging in which it was delivered, and special order or bespoke items.
    3. You must inform us in writing during the cooling off period that you are cancelling the contract.
    4. If you have not received the goods at the time of cancellation of the contract, and we have not processed the goods for delivery, we will refund to you all monies paid by you for the goods in question including the delivery charges, where applicable, within 30 days of your cancellation being accepted.
    5. If you have not received the goods at the time of cancellation of the contract, but we have processed the goods for delivery, and they are en route, or if the goods have already been received by you, you must not unpack them. You are the owner of the goods when they are received by you and you are liable for their loss or destruction. The goods must be returned to us as soon as possible. We will refund you all the monies paid by you for the goods in question, excluding the cost of delivery and collection of the goods.
    1. All goods supplied by us come with a manufacturer' warranty of at least 12 months.
    2. We shall provide relevant information as is required to claim under the manufacturer's warranties. In the event of a claim, you must, in the first instance, contact us.
    3. We do not provide warranty cover against defects in our own right.
    4. Every effort will be made to ensure that the goods you have ordered arrive undamaged and without defect.
    5. Please be aware that fabric colours on computers, tablets and mobile phones can vary compared to seeing the fabrics in situ. We cannot be held responsible for these differences.
    6. If the goods are found to be damaged or defective in any way at the time of delivery, you must contact us within 3 working days of delivery of the goods.
    7. If the goods are found to be damaged within 3 working days of delivery of the goods, and we are unable to repair the item to manufacturing standards, we will send a replacement item upon confirmation that the damaged item has been returned to us.
    1. We reserve the right not to accept any order if:
      1. We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
      2. We do not deliver to your area.
      3. One or more of the items ordered was incorrectly described or priced on our website.
      4. The payment transaction is not authorised.
    2. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you and will refund to you any sum paid by you to us in respect of the contract within 30 days of the cancellation of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
    1. While every effort is made to meet our customers' demands, cancellations or variations may be necessary as a result of an Act of God, war, strike, lockout, labour dispute, fire, flood, drought, or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
    1. If you have a complaint to make please do not hesitate to contact us immediately by telephone or e-mail.
    2. Any complaint will be dealt with fairly, effectively and confidentially. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
  9. LAW:
    1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and any dispute, question or remedy howsoever arising determined exclusively by the Courts of England and Wales.
    1. These terms and conditions together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and Privacy Policy set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of goods to you by us.
    2. Nothing said by any salesperson on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods for sale by us.
    3. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
    4. Photographs on our website are for illustrative purposes only, and may not exactly match the product itself.

    Neither Queen Street Carpets (1973) Ltd nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of this website. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties. Queen Street Carpets (1973) Ltd accepts no liability for any information or content contained in external third party websites which link to or from this website. Notwithstanding the a foregoing, none of these exclusions and limitations are intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under local or other statutory rights which may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of employees and/or agents.
